30 Seconds To Mars to perform San Jose

30 Seconds To Mars's Jared Leto hasn't made film "Mr.Nobody" in 2009 rather he's been working to the fronting the punk-metal power trio 30 Seconds To Mars, and return its year old “This Is War” album on nonstop world tour.

The band perform at the Event Center at San Jose State after they back to the Bat Arena on 15 Jan coming Saturday.

Naturally, songs like “Escape,” “Vox Populi” and “Search & Destroy” are, ahem, rather aggressive in tone.

Leto says, “they concern the American Dream, and the promise of that and the failure of that — the idea that if you’ve got this, that and the other, you’re gonna be OK, you’re gonna be happy. And obviously, we’ve found that all to be pretty untrue. So I think it’s become a survivalist mentality out there right now, a very defensive posture. And when you’re in defensive posture, it’s really hard to be in a positive, creative place — when you batten down the hatches, it’s hard to see the view.”

30 Seconds To Mars guitarist Tomo Milicevie some inspiration words

30 Seconds to Mars guitarist Tomo Milicevie and now some inspiration word about his, Milicevie 31 years old, his sister Ivana is an actress who was in CBS's "Love Monkeys".

How is it that both Milicevics became successes?

Miilicevis says, "We won't take no for an answer. You just bust your ass. That's the secret. Most people -- they don't want to admit the fact that you have to work harder."

Not just harder, but sacrificing free time, nights, weekends and TV on the couch.

Milicevic says, "Without me sounding like a total, complete prick, most people don't want to do that. Most people are happy with a mediocre life, and that's fine. I'm obsessed with production and getting (work) done."

Milicevic has been working at musicianship since he was 3, when he gain a famous the violin in Sarajevo. He was on track to become a concert violinist, even as his family moved to Troy, Mich., five years later, and then to L.A. in his late teens. He says, "I was definitely born and bred to become one, but I found the guitar, and then it was like, 'Oh, no, this is the one.' "

Milicevic still loves to violin, he says, "We in the classical music world -- we feel like classical music is still the top-top-top-top level of everything. Those composers are still the only true masters. The interpretation of that music is still the most complicated thing to achieve."
